OUR APPROACH
The Energiesprong whole house refurbishment and new build approach is designed to achieve net-zero energy homes that no longer rely on fossil fuel gas.
Super-insulated prefabricated facades maximise energy-efficiency, while renewable technologies ensure the home generates as much energy as the occupier needs.
10,000+ homes across the Netherlands, UK, France, Germany and Italy are now desirable, comfortable, affordable and decarbonised due to this approach being scaled through ambitious and pioneering projects delivered across Europe.
What we do
We collaborate with building owners, residents, innovative companies, governments and financiers to enable rapid installation methods for renovation, drive innovation in circular materials and energy technologies, and unlock robust business models to deliver these. This includes:- Piloting new solutions to accelerate change in partnership with leading companies to address current and future challenges in the construction industry.
- Facilitating continual learning and inspiring others by disseminating learning about our work with other market frontrunners and our wider network
- Building a global community by spreading awareness of the Energiesprong approach, empowering our existing market development teams globally and helping the creation of new ones.
- We aim to inspire others and disseminate knowledge to accelerate delivery of our mission. We collectively learn and evolve, so we can improve and expand our impact.
Our Global Alliance
We work with ‘market development teams’ in France, Germany, the UK and Italy. These organisations bring together experts in a range of fields to develop solutions to delivery and implementation challenges in their building renovation sector. Focusing on market actors and dynamics and the policy and financial landscape, they develop, test and scale approaches to achieve our joint mission: desirable, comfortable, financeable and decarbonised homes and buildings. All the teams across Europe are inspired by the Energiesprong approach and learn from its implementation but use it in different ways depending on the cultural, financial and policy situations of their countries.Energiesprong aims to create scale by
